One of those occasions was routine corner and one was a huge risk that he was lucky nobody got to. He also came out once well and cut out a ball through. He was trying to play it out quickly but out players were not arsed.
Since @astro is clearly travelling tonight I will leave a simple question for him. Is Klopp a #fraud or just a #mug ?
He certainly wasn't his happy clappy self in the after match interview. The fact he has noticed the problem is good, does he know what to do about it should now be the main concern.
Okay fellow reds, are we happy with our season so far? Of course not. So.....how in your honest opinion can we rectify our problems and who is to blame as to where we are right now? If our owners and manager can't see where we're going wrong we're doomed. Seriously, some of the players that were out there tonight won't get a look in until the 3rd round of the FA Cup in January, tonight's team showed that even our squad players battled for nothing because our manager thought we would beat the home team easily. Get a ****ing grip Herr Klopp.
Going to be honest if we have to have a mediocre midfield can we have Grujic instead of Hendo? Does about the same going forward but at least shows some fight in midfield...the basic fact he actually gets a foot towards the opponent when they have the ball is one up on the cappy who waves it in the direction from the 5 yards away before he turns around and wanders into a position to get a better view of the chance the opposition creates... Ok...we may have to put lots of the Ox's tape on Grujic boots so he doesn't kill the opponent....
Ok. It is not a huge disaster and as someone else said given the choice between a win tonight and Saturday in the prem, they would choose Saturday. But why does it need to be either or? Winning matches is a habit, gives everyone players manager and fans a lift. This month has been poor. We've not won anything so far. Why not play a strong (ish) team and win?. Saturday will take care of itself. We'll be tired but we'll have a win. If we don't win at the weekend, Klopp wll under even more pressure.
Ridiculous that Klopp should be coming under any pressure in September. Its says something about the embarrassing state of our fan base that they start complaining in September when things aren't even that bad.
As one of the more negative on here, i am defo not complaining about Klopp I am complaining we didnt give this cup a good go, others have made their justifications as to why we dont but i feel you enter a comp to win it. Not sure we were trying to win tonight, got the impression we were happy to win but not arsed if we lost - that not right in my book, but if we win win league or CL or even qualify for CL I will be happy. Still want a pot though
It's ****ing awful mate.. Can't believe you can't see it.... Ok You can't see that there's no more beer in my fridge.
It is ridiculous but that's what happens in England. It is like a vicious crcle. Once a big club loses they gets pressure from media. And it builds up until the team wins. The fan base has the right to complain when the deficiencies that were obvious to every one for the whole of last season have not been sorted. This may be September but we could be out of the title race by October/November if we don't recover soon.
Not disagreeing with that mate, its disappointing that we have lost a chance to win a trophy but its the least prestigious of the 4 and if we did list competitions in terms of priority this would be way below even the FA Cup.
I think awful is harsh, we were really good in the first half apart from the (crucial) bit of actually putting the ball into the net. We suffered once we took a world class player off for a 17 year old as we had one eye on the Leicester/Moscow games coming up in quick succession. Whether you agree with the decision is down to your personal preference but I remember Brendan Rodgers getting lambasted for playing a really strong team againt Notts County in this very cup and Toure, Allen and Cissokho got injured and Sturridge haD to play 120 minutes IIRC and we were playing United on the weekend.
