I'd say a Huddersfield player deserved it (Don't ask me which though) but they always insist on giving it to someone on the winning side.
I'd like to see us get back to Gomez and VVD at CB. That's my only complaint. I'm sure TAA has learned his lesson and will be less sloppy on the ball.
Who was their guy in the right that seemed to draw every single one of ours so they could break left (edit lol)? Obviously not the one who had the final pass.... without him we might have lost the match lol
I wasn't so impressed, lots of running but no brain. So often it was the wrong run in attack and defence. To be fair he hasn't played much.
I'm honestly not convinced yet... but that's with the understanding that he was not remotely ready for this league yet.
I agree but I've seen enough to think that he's going to get it once he's up to speed. There's a determination about him that I like.
The end product as always been the problem with him but I felt he keep possession well. Inky way Huddersfield were stopping him was by fouling.
Tbf it's like Kieta... first 2 games I was like **** yeah! Then this league's pace hit him too. Lot of hard work for both to do.
End product is the theme at mo .... so many of our players are working, doing the right things except that ..... end product
Same. Bit like when I first saw Lucas and Kuyt, there is something there that tells me he'll be a decent player for us in time. He's very good on the ball in tight positions. The players clearly trust him too.
I've not got that same feeling about Keita. Clearly a very good player but a confidence player imo, that could go either way. Players like Lucas, Kurt, Firmino, Carragher, etc don't need to be confident to make a impact. Their work ethic is so high that a poor performance is still a good performance from them. Someone like Torres, Mcmanaman, Garcia, etc aren't half the player without the confidence.
i'm wondering if it was to shut sturridge up about his i'm ready boss comments. hes useful, but not 90 mins useful. 45 mins at most ie 2nd half.
