Mate, when you’ve seen us bottle as many derbies as I have, then you’d understand why I write off this fixture at Anfield every year. Our form is also currently gash btw, last weekend was a horror show, and whilst we gave City a game, we still got done 3-1. Whether DCL and Allan are fit could be crucial albeit the latter hasn’t played since December, Mina is defo missing though, which is a blow as we’ll end up with Holgate at CB which fills me with dread. I reckon Mane and Salah would get a game like lol. You should tell the bookies btw mate, as you’re 1/2 on and we’re 6/1 against.
I’m not arsed about the bookies I am bothered about you lol I just hope it’s a good game Obviously I want us to win - but I do rate Carlo and he always seems to have our number (bar the one notable exception - football gods against him that night) could be another 4-4 and are you sure you wouldn’t trade Allison for Pickford Edit **** he probably not playing sat - bollocks lol
I've no idea how we'll play in this game, yeah we could smash em but they really could get a win if we play like we have done recently.
Glimmer of hope because we played well against RB Leipzig but they were attacking and didn't just sit all eleven behind the ball (I'm not talking park the bus tactics, just dropping back) when we had the possession, it made it a very open game which obviously suits us. No chance Ancelotti will take that approach with Everton. They will drop in and defend their box when out of possession (why not?) which means we'll struggle again.
No doubt Carlo will make it difficult for us. Although we played well Everton could argue that the 2 goals against Leipzig were from blatant defensive mistakes and a tight defence will yield results. We should be able to capitalise from the absence of their top striker. So similarly as long as Alisson keeps his fits in check, we should have that league win at last.
Apparently Him and Kelleher weren’t in any of the training pics but then rumours are they were away from cameras doing work which would make sense as unlucky if they were to both be injured (although not inconceivable given our season so far)
time for more controversial statements. No excuse now for LFC I expect us to win every game up to may 1st and the man utd fixture. nothing esle is acceptable
Hopefully we will not lose any players for the rest of the season and the ref knows the rules and is able to use VAR correctly. Basically I am hoping to see a game of football.
