I don't think we will go with a league cup team for this match, weve got a decent break inbetween the next two games so I can see 5/6 first team mixed with back ups. It's been quite a while since weve had a decent run in the cup so I'm not sure how much if an impact it would have later on in the season if we go through
Personally would quite happily sack it off. Everton being the only complication to that. The league and champions league are far more important
I still have alot of love for the fa cup, it doesn't have the glamour it once did, but I'd still love to win it. Must admit I prefer to see the miss match ties more, good to see s division 2 side rock up at one of the big pren teams hoping for a shock.
Play the 2nd string again and fill the rest with the kids. Id hope klopp doesn't risk any 1st teamers. Naby will probably play, then be inujred for 3 games a(****ing)gain. Dudes made of bloody glass
To be fair I dont think weve got a massive amount of options. Mini will get a game, maybe elliot but after that it's a scatter gun approach to ethos feeling fit and who's ****ed. Firmino for example looked jaded in the last game, really needs a few days rest and recuperation, but salah look raring to go.
I'm going to put it out there now, I'd be looking for a replacement In the summer. He looks good when he plays but how often does he play, we really cant afford to carry him for season after season with him constantly coming back from one niggle after another
Thats kinda what i mean, were 2 maybe 1 injury away from bare bones, klopps needs to manage the rest that are still fit with kid gloves until at least matip and fab are back which is feb apparently. Its Everton in the fa cup so id expect a few rough tackles ect for thay reason id go with the team we played against villa or near. Cl and pl are the priorities. No one will care if the u23s get wooped 5-1 come may as long as we have that title.
True, thinking about it he may as well play second string and kids. Better than a mix of the 2 and getting beat with more fatigue to any first team players that do play. All in or all out I suppose
Ive been saying this for a while now tbh. Theres deffo a very good player there but if hes never ****ing fit to play then bye bye. As someine said to me earlier when i raised this, whos gonna buy him? Currently we would take a loss on him for sure. But so be it. So agreed we should be loooking to replace imho
I dont think wed take a bath on him, hes obviously got talent and maybe the prem and the intensity of the training are just to much for him. I dont think hes had this sort of issue before joining us. Getting injured in the warm up was a big one for me, reminded me so much of Sturridge
Im just fed up with his constant injuries, this squad going forward cant suffer passenger's. Be interesting to know what his record of consecutive games/week's without injury for us actually is. Id be surprised if it was over 5/6 weeks/games tbh
I think the most hes managed is 3 months injury free, but for most of that he was sat on the bench getting eased back in. I cant remember him putting more than a couple of games together back to back. https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/naby-keita/verletzungen/spieler/302215
