EFC clearly did not want to get rid of him before a derby they knew they would probably lose as who wants their first game as a manager to be a derby defeat. Mane has been phenomenal, Origi has taken his goals well, but Shaqiri hasn't done much. Thought Lallana has been alright, but Milner and Wijnaldum have been poor. Milner is starting to show his age imo
I would take Lllana off he has given the ball away a few times, or made a panicked pass. He is not good enough for this team.

It's weird with Origi because we always look at youngish fringe players and think that they could do with a loan spell to develop, but he had a terrible loan spell and only really developed after being reintroduced to the squad last year.
Makes sense, he came into a fantastic team, easier to do your thing if youve got players around you of quality
