Sahko got mom didn't he? At this rate, it'll be a direct swap for VvD

Id love him to come back and make up with klopp get his head down and win back a place.

Matip and sakho with lovren and klavan as back up looks a much stronger CB option than currently have available. Means we only have to look for a LB rather than a Lb and CB and can use the money elsewhere like midfield and quick striker.

He seems to have kept kept his head down since he went to Palace, not read too much about him, maybe because it's not being reported in as much being at palace and not us, but that's all klopp wanted it seems so who knows.

As much as I like VVD, spending so much on him would be silly considering we already have Sakho.

Having said that, Sakho is quite injury prone as are a number of other lads in our side. We can't build around that.

What makes you think Sakho wants to come back?

He and Klopp obviously didn't see eye-to-eye so it's not just Klopp that needs to have a change of heart.

Depends what his other options are. Moving to Crystal Palace as a place to live and having to play under fat Sam can't be that appealing <whistle>

Sakho was never a question of his ability it was about his personality and character ...

As I see it it's one of two things ...

1. Klopp thinks he's too much of a clown who doesn't apply himself and pisses around all the time (see that america tour they had) when he demands discipline playing in his set-up so Sakho has to go

2. Klopp sees him as too much of a threat in the dressing room due to Sakho having quite a big personality and mans naturally following him and looking to him, Klopp wants to be the one players are looking to follow and obey so Sakho has to go

How bad was the defending for their goal. Whole team just stopped and watched rather than being on the move and anticipating a lose ball.

First tackle from Barkley on Can wasn't nice, probably a yellow but early in the game ref maybe giving him benefit. The 2nd is nailed on red though, cowards tackle, never winning the ball or going to get hurt himself, just making sure he got Lovren.

The Williams stamp was pathetic. Wasn't really a stamp, more a scrap and was definitely deliberate as no one puts their foot down on someone and drags it back like that. Doubt anything will happen as wasn't technically a stamp and not much been made of it.

Williams was a **** all game, making lots of niggly and cynical fouls, often behind the refs back. Took till the 2nd half to finally book him when really he should have been on Yellow in the first half.
Glad we never bought him, seems like a **** of a player, who'd rather just go round trying to kick lumps out of the opposition.

He was a moron too, so busy looking for chances to leave something on a LFC player he didn't have a clue where the ball was, allowing Origi to stroll past him and seal the win

Raking your studs down someone's back is hardly a legitimate footballing move though. Regardless of how much damage is done, if the ref sees it and considers it deliberate it's a red, surely?

Agree. Should be a red and retrospective ban but won't be because not much has been made of it and it wasn't a stamp which is the buzzword at the moment.
