Klopp in PL; played 59 and conceded 76 goals (ave 1.29 pg) [HASHTAG]#improvementneeded[/HASHTAG]

Lucas will add some defensive balance to our midfield. He'll also be standing in front of Lukaku stopping him being able to bring the ball down on his chest. He's done it effectively in the past against big strikers and nullified their threat quite effectively <ok> Also with Lucas in the anchor role Can will have the freedom to go forward more and I reckon he'll be more of a threat in and around the box today.

Lucas doesn't concern me, Can moving forward does.

Why? He's really good at carrying the ball forward, once he picks up a bit of momentum he becomes hard to stop when running with the ball. Can see him winning a few fouls in dangerous positions and creating space for others when he starts dribbling further up the pitch.

Because he's too slow and isn't effective at the press. Plus, as you say, he lives a foul (as does Lucas).

I think Winja is under pressure to perform today. He's the one that's going run that midfield. He's the only one that will press, he's the only one that will create or look to score.

Some good stats though. Highly relevant <cheers>

Obviously not the same **** you have been. I mentioned since the turn of the year i.e. this calendar year. Lallana has done the sum of **** all. Not sure when he signed his new contract but i think it was round about the same time. Seems theres a familiar pattern. Coutinho, sturridge new fat contracts new poor performances
He'd have had one if he remembered Nivea goes on your skin, and not on your boots.

Well the second question re Lucas is which of the subs will be used to replace him once the ref makes it clear his next foul will be a second yellow.

We really need Couts to regain his form today and Lovren , Matip to have really good games.

Is anyone actually making their debut?

Maybe not, just assumed they were since (a) I've never heard of them, (b) they're so young and (c) the pundits are making a big deal out of it.

If prefer them not to be debutants tbh

I should imagine if that happened can would be shifted to his place so would it be Woodburn?

Can see Coutinho having to constantly drop deep to collect the ball and provide some creativity which will then leave us short up top and having to pass the ball backwards. Not convinced at all with our midfield three - too safe and defensive - especially at home.
