doesn't matter as the effect of the "same" tackle can vary hugely i.e. if Taylor carried out the same tackle 50 times probably only once would the result be as severe and on a number of occasions the tackled player carries on the game after 2 mins treatment.Imo the intent was clear.
Accidents can occur but imo that was no accident.
No one would know if Taylor did it intentionally or not apart from Taylor himself.
We know that Jimmy.Whether it was intentional or not, it was still reckless and needless IMO.

we have all seen games where horrific tackles have done no real damage much to eveyones surprise and relief. You also have a problem that it is an attempt to tackle which is legit unlike punch/elbow which are not part of football.
It is amazing how many top flight leg breaks are from innocuous tackles rather than the traditional "leg breaker" type tackle.
don't get me wrong i'm not condoning Taylors "tackle" in any way but this is why the reckless feet off the ground challenges should be a red card irrespective if contact actually occurred
again just my view
Delle Alli is a serial diver, whinger and petulant displays inc punching & seriously dodgy tacklesAlis tackle in the EL was far worse that was front on into the shin and the guy was lucky didn't snap in half, guess shin pads helped in that case. At least Taylor came from slight angle and it was Coleman kicking the ball and ended up bringing his leg into Taylor's foot which is what caused the injury.
I really dont think anybody wants to see that. I would go further to say that anyone who does hold that opinion should be barred by mods asap as they are NOT football fans. That would not be banter, just wrong simple as.Since we're playing them next, there will be some moral lacking posters on here jumping for joy at his injury...

for me it is not about that right now, Coleman is a cracking player, his career will be different now, it isnt just the physical aspect in danger. Will he be able to go in for a ball again now this has happened without any doubt. Its still good for us that coleman and mccarthy wont be playing.
Zanjina just has a bee in his bonnet
I dont think he meant to break his leg but i think he meant to hurt him.I would contend every ex pro going need only look at 2 mins of that game and lbow it was totally intentional![]()

Lithuanian just hacked alli down.

Wish him all the best, he will get the best care money can buy so he has an advantage there, lets hope he gets back to full speed.

Not really. I'd rather beat their strongest XI than be pleased our "chances of winning" are better because opposition players are injured.
In modern day football, there usually isn't too much difference between first and second choice players anyway.
