Koeman took over a side that were devoid of confidence, a defensive shambles, and patently not fit enough.

We managed 4 home wins all season under the clown last year, Koeman has turned Goodison back into a fortress and we've won 10 at home already this term, having scored 22 goals in our last 6 alone, keeping 5 clean sheets in the process. He's doing a grand job as far as I'm concerned.

I think the irony in my post is lost on you today:emoticon-0148-yes:

No doubt about the pedigree of Koeman, he took Southampton to Europe. ??? over his character.

Not sure about this questionmark over his character. He told Southampton he wouldn't sign an extension and they decided to cash in on him, he stated that he would be happy to honour his deal.

Lukaku needs to hang off the shoulder of Klavan, and Baines needs to ping balls into your right side channel when you high press. Lukaku in a foot race with Klavan with 40 yards of grass in front of them, only ends one way.

yes, klavan would be a very foolish addition.

despite the defending of him on here I saw matip easily deal with aguero in the same position twice forcing aguero to shoot wide while klavan basically lost the guy in his blind spot then paused looking for him and got passed by.

If the ball in was good fine ok but you have to do the job right... and imo lucky would do klavan all day long. Lovren was on bench and IMO with the tenerife holdiay camp he should be back in.

Coleman is vital for you in this one imo.

His delivery and end product have been worse than a takeaway at last orders recently.

He will graft all day, but as with baines the final ball has been poor IMO but even so we have been getting some consolation goals

it only takes one.

this strikes me as a game of who scores first.

the issue for everton is stark. mane v williams/jagielka. If any foot race occurs there you are wide open.

will you try 343 v us or go straight 451 and lock up the midfield area?

IMO LFc are weak wide defensively but we will see

Yep, Lukaku [HASHTAG]#bottling[/HASHTAG] the shot until the 80+ minute with the game lost and he gets his consolation

You mean he didn't voluntarily forfeit his salary or risk being sued for breach of contract by refusing to work? Wow, what a great bloke.

BTW Lukaku says he's happy to leave on a free if you want <ok>

Jagielka is no slouch, plus with Gana as a screen....

If Barry plays we will struggle...
We deffo need James or Morgan back or we will do well to draw IMO
Koeman just needs a little more time to mold the squad into what he wants.....a full pre season to implement his philosophy. With The owner not releasing funds he has had to use cheap players such as Calvert-Lewin and home grown players like Davies to help us out.

Barry knows the dark arts.... its what support is around him. away game is probably not for him though... an early yellow and he is a proper liability.

With Gana and Davies in beside him.....

Flukaku with Barkley Mirallas/Lookman we have options

We're always **** after the international breaks and in early games so prob lose this one.

yeah sure... but what happens when one is sent off after 20mins :)

seriously though its more about the more senior players and who you get in there than young lads like lookman and davies.

Davies might dive in stupidly like a typical blue for all i know <whistle> Barkley has in the past. Lookman prob doesn't get it yet.

I mean do you really starve them before the games or show them pics of men in red shirts shagging their mums or what? you want to change that if you want to beat us regularly.

Also koeman is a dirty chat n all. i'd say he'll go out of his way to play a dirty physical game.
