Martin Fisher:"Most United fans agree Jose Mourinho has been a significant upgrade on Louis van Gaal"

<laugh> most Man Utd fans are morons

sullen rather than angry... i think mourinho is ramping up the anger for them shortly though.

If utd keep this "upward" trend going form moyes to van gaal to mourinho... why... they might actually get someplace in 5 or 6 managers time.

To be fair, he's not any worse than Van Gaal, he's about equal.

Amusingly, Moyes has been the best post-Fergie manager at United. Who would have predicted we would be saying that today when he got sacked?

Costas mercenary ways will probably win Chelsea the title this season (your mercenary striker failed with that).
Nothing wrong with buying Lukaku back, they sold a raw player who was never going to be first choice ahead of what they had, now he is the finished article and the players ahead of him are either gone or going. Saved a few years wages there and Lukaku got much needed game time.

If lukaku is the finished article I'd be worried. So much missing from his game to be a top class striker. At the moment he's a very good goal scorer but his link up play is poor and his movement isn't great.

Maybe its jist at everton but he seems to get himself isolated and is really inconsistent at being a target man. When on form no doubt he's brilliant, but if he doesn't get much service he la not going to cause opposition much trouble, unlike Costa.

Loving the meltdown jibes lol <laugh><laugh><laugh>

When you have no answer just claim meltdown [HASHTAG]#standard[/HASHTAG] <laugh><laugh><laugh>

Next time try to turn up earlier

We've already moved on to discussing your lineup for the Mancs and you come along ranting like Koeman's post match interview <ok>

He made a very tweet about Ronnie a couple of tweets before the one jb posted.

https://twitter.com/mayor_anderson?lang=en

Think he just felt the humiliation like the rest of his blue brethren.
I saw that one too and that's the kind of tweets you'd expect.

As the mayor of the city, he shouldn't be showing his partisanship let alone a borderline us/them tweet. They live in the city too and pay their council taxes etc. and while they do, he's their mayor as well. Really poor show from him.

Can of worms there jb, he was instrumental in our new stand getting built and the recent guarantor(on the councils behalf)of Everton's new stadium.
The only thing I can honestly see wrong is maybe he tweeted it on his official mayoral account.

Football allegiance amongst local politicians has always been there and it played a part when the blues fans living in the vacinity of Stanley Park voted against us getting permission to build on there based on club allegiance rather than whether or not it would have bettered their community..

His role as mayor means he represents all who live in the city. It also means he has to not only be impartial but be seen to be impartial. Using his official account to pick out those footballers in the picture he posted shows he's not only not impartial but is willing to let it be seen that he's not.

Granted we know his football allegiance any dig at LFC done in a generalised way about score, money spent etc. etc would be seen as banter and maybe shouldn't be on his official account but would be ok. Singling out players as not being scousers [quite what that's got to do with anything I don't know as they weren't even the 3 scorers in the game] as a response to 'Merseyside is Red' is borderline racist.

Of course, as we all know their leading scorer is a scouser!!
