whilst agreeing with a lot of that i thought Lovren was out injured not dropped.
I thought Lucas was vital protecting the defence but it helped that they were a bit / lot ****e

He was injured initially but Lovren as been on the bench for recent games. So yeah, not dropped really but he's had to wait for his chance to get back in the side. He's grabbed it with both hands today

Good well deserved win.

As expected. Everton did not come to defend and did not have a tight midfield. As a result we had a easy time. Lukaku as usual could not do it against a better team. The classic flat track bully.

Coutinho is building himself to form. The only minus is Mane injured. Not sure how bad the injury is.

Lovren didn't allow Lukaku to play [HASHTAG]#pocket[/HASHTAG]

Mane had his knee strapped up anyway so maybe precautionary?

i think he was on the bench last week as there was no one else rather than actually being "fit" - not that i'm saying our squad is a tad thin or anything

Only half watched the match - on nights and watched the first half in bed. 3 points, Everton were filthy (again), and Coutinho played well for most of the game. Do we play again on Wednesday? Do we have any players left?

not a great game but wholly satisfying to put those cloggers back in their box.
I almost felt sorry for Holgate & Pennington who seemed to get no protection at all from their experienced teammates but the actions of Barclay & Williams soon brought me to my senses.
big shout to Lovren , Lucas & Origi for their performances.

now off to do my allocated jobs -nice of wife to help me out with lists of them <whistle>
