Which Man City players would get into this first XI? De Bruyne? Anyone else? Man City are just depth built on FFP violations.
Still buzzing over last night's performance. Palace made it easy for us and Zaha coming off didn't help them, but we were seriously so good. One of the best performances of the season. I was worried it would take us a little while for us to get back to that level after the COVID restart.
Just for context, when Man City played away to their midtable derby rivals they lost 2-0, even without a pandemic loss of form

Like others still buzzing from last night after watching us back in full flow at an intensity that not many can cope with .
Although the Everton game was played at a different level, understandable first game back, the desire to win the ball back was evident then and greatly magnified last night. It makes the game so much more enjoyable to watch, seeing the desire to win. Klopp said the idea is to play as though the fans are in the stadium and honestly, although it's completely weird not having fans there and not something anybody wants carrying on any longer than is necessary, it really took very little away from last night's performance. It didn't look like a preseason game, it looked like what it was, the best team in the league doing what they've been doing for the last couple of years.
Just full credit to them all, one of the best performances I’ve seen in a long time - they really made me forget there were no fans inside. What a team
