Noticed there wasn't a thread on this? I'm watching via QPR.co.uk as they had a package for £10 for all pre season games.

Opponents providing tough opposition so far. A good work out for us.

Does anyone have the starting 11 names?

1-0 Castellon

Morrison needlessly gave the ball away near the centre of our half, and their player shoots from far over the head of the keeper.

What do we know about Pearman?

I always wonder at pre season games abroad like this, if we have a scout watching the opposition players. They look a decent side. The game so far is nothing like the one against Stevenage. Putting us under a lot of pressure, on and off the ball.

We haven't had any kind of chance on goal so far.

Their number 15 (winger) a real handful.

2-0 Castellon. They are dominant. We don't look totally out of our depth but are struggling with their pressure and not creating much fluency with passing.

Through ball and player rounds our keeper.

We are playing in that frustrating way we're all familiar with over the last few seasons: dicking about with it at the back, no one able to drop of their markers for a pass, no one taking a chance with incisive passes.

3-0

God awful own goal from Field, passing back to keeper but over-hitting it.

FFS are they that good?
They do actually look like a decent side. They are well drilled, have ideas, have a really tricky winger and their gameplay is to heap pressure on off the ball.

To be fair, it's a really random 11 for us. This will be no where near our 1st team 11 for the championship.

I feel sorry for Celar, who has had nothing in terms of service.

Celars off the ball movement is very basic and predictable. It's been poor from us but you learn more from games like this than you do from winning 5-0.

Anyway, the 2nd half is basically a separate match, so we'll see how the other 11 gets on.

I'm excited at the prospect of Kelmann playing with us this season but do feel we could do with another proven striker.
