you are absolutely right a) play the ball down the line. Its almost a sin to even suggest this at our club and mane and salah rarely show for that ball. Not really. A real intent is to sorting out there but you will see us jog sort of out that way but really just want to turn back and get in the middle. b) actually running at teams. Look at fulham. mane had their right full on toast. anytime he wanted but we didn't feed him like wolves would have fed traore. we passed it about in front of them. Look yesterday. Matip made several runs forward. Wijnaldum made one run that create a chance. Nobody else really did. c) nobody takes responsibility to make the run and nobody back them. The end result is that floaty rubbish high cross or long straight ball forward that every single player doing them have no chance of getting anything. I would rather they turn on each other and demand that they either make the run or their team mate play the ball quicker than them kick it it away stupidly.
he could have passed it into the left side of the goal. You'd have scored it, it was an absolute gift.
I think that’s the point. Hamann apparently said he is a great quality midfielder but just wouldn’t 100% fit our style of play.
And we need to talk about Trent, our future captain. We suffer his peripatetic approach to defending and wildly sliced clearances because he's 'Wurld classs' at crosses and set-pieces. In future, when Shaqiri is on the pitch, let him take the corners and free-kicks: Trent's were (and have been for weeks) ****ing abysmal last night.
I don't think he is near fit and needs to **** off for 2 or 3 weeks to go into a training camp. He is not moving like he should.
About as much a point as you saying Fabinho should have cleared it, Origi should have scored. Ifs, buts and maybe added to hindsight makes it easy to pass judgement. Although, tbf, you're negative as **** when we win 7-0...
And going back to Origi: why the **** are we persisting with him? A blind man can see he's not cutting it
Funny how it's always someone else's fault when your prediction fails to come true. They must do it deliberately.
I think they are total ****s for messing me around. Imagine throwing a goal in like that just to prove me wrong. Obviously origi missed on purpose as well as winning the game wouldnt be any fun. I'm still not buying them a cb. They can faff right off.
