    I did comment in the summer when we signed klavan i have no idea why we bothered. I'm not in the least bit shocked sides are targeting him in the air.

    that still is very telling though. you an see who's hiding over o nthe right wing not too bothered can't you.

    Its 3 up fornt and back 4 and nothing in the middle.

    you are right there.

    I just mean he's not a tall CB and at 6'1" I thought he'd be eaten up i nthe air and he has been. Sakho and lovren just about compete and are 6'3"

    Harsh on Klavan. No idea why he got such a hard time against burnley when he didn't do an awful lot wrong and made a great block at 2-1 to preserve the lead. He got beaten by Gray once when Gray had the headstat of being offside.

    Yeah he didn't dominate him in the air but he's about similar height and by playing 2 up top both CBs were marking. Means can't do one attack and one sweep so Klavan just had to stay goal side. If anything Can should have dropped back and been in front of Gray to stop any balls chipped into him.
