had to wait for motd to see game as was working. grrr!!!

loved the response when we went a goal (dodgy as **** at best!!! bet no comments were made from the ******ed wums or on the spuds board <laugh> ) down.

Keita starting to come good and unlucky not to score a couple of times, milners goal was class, and nice finish from shaq, shame he didn't do that in the derby instead of letting it go to his right foot and then straight at keeper lol.

what the **** was dyche moaning about, his team was dirty as ****? the ref was weak and let them get away with murder.

My view was that in the second half there were signs that we were starting to click offensively for the first time in a while. Keita ,for the first time really, showed why we splashed the cash for him and was a constant threat on the ball. He also , for a change , didn't give the ball away in dangerous positions plus made a very good diving block.
Whilst not our best performance by any means i'm surprised at the negativity on here since we racked up another away win , after going behind , while resting a load of players.

Thought the same, seemed like there was some connection between the forwards for the first time in a long time, they at least looked cohesive and in the same team ... Keita helps with that looking to go forward and be on the front foot most of the time. I actually think not playing Mane helped, he hasn't been so great this season and when it doesn't work for him is greedy and stops stuff happening. It's not last season anymore and we need to go with the flow and evolve which means that front 3 from then doesn't have the right to start just on the back of that.

My thoughts are similar, although not fantastic, for the first time i could see things starting to come together. Light at the end of the tunnel.
Its not the first time this season, that we have come from behind to rattle a few goals in, im fairly happy at the minute.

signs yes but not enough trust.

I think the team needs to reset itself mentally and stop kicking it away all the time.

Klopps comments were on keita and milner being the ones trying.

What we are looking IMO for is do it more. we know they can. just move, stop standing static and get into the mindset for ALL (CBS especially) that the cms will be available for pass and you give that unless aball can release a salah in behind for a chance.

We cannot have our default pass be wordlie from vvd 60 yards across the pitch to TAA in order to start an attack.

All we really need is just a bit more on the ball form some peopel and be available and the team form will improve. We are second its great but the reality is its fine margins.

    a) CL we have been absolutely well beaten in every away game as we've given ball away constantly. We were so poor v red star it was a joke.

    b) in prem we did ok v city but they came to defend well too. the draw with cheslea was credible and the draw with arsnela was hard fought but hardly a game of quality. We are out running sides and defending well. Great. but that 10% extra is to move from individuals making the goals to the team making the goals as that more reliable

IMO we have another 10-20% to come. Klopps massively improved the defence through acquisitions. The midfield buys have not come through yet... We are really looking at keita here. If he can become a playmaker for us I think our game will step up. We just need someone to retain the ball but not in a totally negative way

I hope we are going to be much better in the second half of the season

Key games over the festive period:
    16/12/2018 Home to Manchester united
    29/12/2018 Home to Arsenal
    3/01/19 Away to Manchester city

#After city game if we are not further away from Manchester city there is hope- I mean current 2 points adrift of city.

It's definitely more that Bobby and Salah are off the ball than Mane being much better.

Yeah thoughts echoed about the 2nd half. Other than Salah who just stood up there again and was useless

We need to take a step back and look at what the team is doing - our best ever start on top flight football? This is incredible.

We’re up against one of the best club sides in the history of English football ... and only 2 points behind.

The performances this season haven’t been vintage but we’ve added some seriously key characteristics - solidity, mentality, arrogance, swagger.

And we can shift through the gears. The last 30 mins yday showed that.

Thought Salah’s assist was top notch, great ball. Better still he was looking to put him through :)
