    You are spot on there
    Didn’t even get discussed !
Tbf it was them scoring that got us going so sort of worked in end
Nice to see we have that reaction in us.
Not sure we can afford the likes of Napoli a goal start or indeed Bournemouth but we got to rest some players.
    Good Night :)

Not the greatest again, but more than a few positives.

Keita looked good when he was involved, always looking to turn and drive forward, basically what we have been screaming for.

Milner looked better next to him, probably because he didn't have to run the midfield by himself.

Some neat touches by studge, I'm glad he's still here.

Big Al and Virgil are truly imperious. I'm very much infatuated with both.

1 nil down to 3 -1 up with out breaking a sweat. I'm not altogether sure what people are looking for, but if that isn't a good result I'll be ****ed if I know what is.

Exactly. I could barely watch city yesterday because of the constant orgasm the commentators have for them - if we’re above them after 16 games.... Would be pretty exciting

Gotta love Allison. Great save at the end then then does brilliantly to keep it in and set up a counter to win it.

The end result needed is a performance not bits and bobs.

If Milner kieta and fabinho, for example could play and they pass the ball and move it about, retain ball, cut out the long stuff unless turning a defence then I'd be happier.

You got bits from Milner, pieces from Keita but we have not seen a complete team performance this season.

I think we all know what that will look like

They could have been had yesterday, Watford where awful in defence, and not much better in midfield but because they had a go at city they had more to think about than just scoring goals.

City coughed up a few chances, maybe sides are starting to realise that the best thing to do is go at them rather than sit off and hope not to get beat 5 nil.

Origi assist too as well as a big Virg assist.
Made up with tonight tbh as defo feared the worst.
    Now fearing that for Sat
Not happy at us being first up though :(
Oh and worried about that game as Bournemouth should not be underestimated
Very tidy team back winning too

The midfield will come, we lost two important players last season and the replacements are only just bedding in.

If we are waiting for the high press high tempo of last year, I think we will be waiting along time, we've changed how we play, and it's paying off.

It might not be as pretty but I still screamed when we scored against Everton, I was still up off my seat when the third went In today.

I just want them to pass and move, retain the ball and just move it along.

You don't need high press chasing about if you keep the ball properly in the first place.

I can't stand hendersons negativity at this poi t. He just goes backwards

Which was fair :) nice to be on positive side of that kind of thing for a change :)
I also thought the game was very good - well I enjoyed it :)

Henderson is to slow on the ball, same as windy to be fair, always wants an extra touch, if he can't have an extra touch it's back to the defence.

But it's what we've got to work with at the minute.

Keita looks very very promising and I'm warming to fabinho. Not sure how he will fit in but he's a good option.

Hopefully ox will be back and slot in well.

We've lost ox, lala and countino and Chan in the space of 12 months. That's a first choice midfield for 90% of sides. It's going to take time to replace.

You answered that with the earlier quote from Klopp. He doesn't want him to be involved in forward play because he wants him to protect the others. I've been saying this for yonks every time someone remarks on his sideways/backward passing - he's playing that way because he's been told to. It really isn't difficult to fathom.

I can not fathom how passing it back to your centre back so he has to hoof it long, losing possession and promoting an opposition attack protects anyone.

I think he meant he doesn't want him going forward, but actually making yourself Available for a pass turning and playing the ball forward would surely be allowed in klopp grand plan.

I'm not moaning about him, he's limited, he can't change direction with the ball at his feet, it's what he is, but to try to over lay his limitations and pretend he's been told to play in this way is tosh.
