I don't think Studge for Bobby works though, changes the formation too much. Bobby was cramping up at the end of the Palace game.

Couldn't get travel insurance to cover me there, it's in the same bracket as Syria.

<laugh> but seriously, it has to be done. It's literally 10 mins on a train and 5 mins in a taxi from the station <ok>

If I have time I'd deffo go there, it's a bit like Mecca for the Liverpool board.

We're only two games into the season, and he hardly played five minutes in the WC - if he needs a rest already we're screwed.
He needs to be back in his old role with Salah out wide again, cutting in.
Bobby gets through a lot of work unnoticed playing deeper, but it's not the same.
If he does need a rest, then take him off after an hour or so, but at least when he's on play him in his most effective position.

Yeah maybe but his WC meant that he didn't get a full pre-season with us, I'm not saying he's knackered, just that we should have the squad now that means he can have a bit more preparation time while we also get the likes of Shaq and Studge up to speed.

Neither are ideal. Salah's is better from the wing and Sturridge doesn't bring other players into the game like Firmino does.

I wonder if it's a role Keita could play just to cover Firm occasionally? Lala or Ox could if fit, I'm sure though they wouldn't be as good.

Leave the women and the kids with each other and bring your mate. I'm not sure everyone would agree with the 'Mecca' definition <laugh> The only person who's been there from Not606 is Swarbs, FFS <laugh>

I think by "Mecca" he meant we all get down to face it and pray...

.....that that's as close as we'll get. :)

    TEAM NEWS:
Chris Hughton revealed Lewis Dunk is a doubt for Saturday's game against Liverpool, after the central defender missed training throughout the week.

Dunk left the field against Manchester United with an ankle injury, and Leon Balogun could come in for his first Premier League start at Anfield.

Bruno, Jose Izquierdo and Florin Andone remain sidelined for the Seagulls.

Liverpool are expected to be without defender Dejan Lovren for this weekend’s clash at Anfield, as the Croatian continues his recovery from a minor injury.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain remains the only long-term absentee for Klopp’s team, after the 25-year-old suffered ligament damage to his knee towards the end of last season.

Funnily enough, praying won’t help the people who go in there. <ok>
