I don't think Studge for Bobby works though, changes the formation too much. Bobby was cramping up at the end of the Palace game.
but seriously, it has to be done. It's literally 10 mins on a train and 5 mins in a taxi from the station
We're only two games into the season, and he hardly played five minutes in the WC - if he needs a rest already we're screwed. He needs to be back in his old role with Salah out wide again, cutting in. Bobby gets through a lot of work unnoticed playing deeper, but it's not the same. If he does need a rest, then take him off after an hour or so, but at least when he's on play him in his most effective position.
Yeah maybe but his WC meant that he didn't get a full pre-season with us, I'm not saying he's knackered, just that we should have the squad now that means he can have a bit more preparation time while we also get the likes of Shaq and Studge up to speed.
Neither are ideal. Salah's is better from the wing and Sturridge doesn't bring other players into the game like Firmino does. I wonder if it's a role Keita could play just to cover Firm occasionally? Lala or Ox could if fit, I'm sure though they wouldn't be as good.
Leave the women and the kids with each other and bring your mate. I'm not sure everyone would agree with the 'Mecca' definition The only person who's been there from Not606 is Swarbs, FFS
I think by "Mecca" he meant we all get down to face it and pray... .....that that's as close as we'll get.
