Having seen MOTD this morning really impressed with Solankes contribution in linking up with the other 3 some of which passed me by at the time as i was too busy moaning at the missed chances.
Really pleased that both him & Robbo have got their first goals with hopefully more to come.

Was anyone else really frustrated with Mane from that game ?? ... so wasteful and he can be like that

Shot when he should have passed, then tried a pass that wasn't on when he should have taken it on himself. He knew he'd screwed up the first time and compounded the error trying to put it right. He has plenty of talent but his decision making is poor.
All of the front three have quick feet, but Salah and Firmino have the quick thinking to go with it.

Yeah aaid suring game def his best game he’s played for us. Think having firm behind helped him out. It meant the usual front 3 could still do their usual thing just have solanke as a focus point and Firm to run from deep.

He held the ball up well, nice assist for Salah, should have got an assist with little backheel and took his goal really well.

I think we might see more of that 4231 next season is we get another striker. Hendo and keita in midfield 2 with 4 ahead of them. Firm can do that job of dropping back into midfield off the ball as he pretty much does it as a striker anyway.

Solanke played well again. Thought he was decent in Rome and against the chavs.

Nice to see Firmino play a little deeper too, gives us that option if he was behind another top striker

It is frustrating, amazing how often he gets in behind each game recently - Needs to get that composure sorted out
