t best someone like Minamino should be brought on for the last 20 minutes when you're three up. I'd only start him in domestic cup games against 2nd division teams, and CL games when you've already qualified or won the tie. Just totally bemused that you'd bring off Mo and leave him on under any circumstances. Diabolical management.

Reckon you'd have won that if you had 5 subs lads.

Well don't play anyone then. Rest Mo, Mane, Fab, Allison, Bobby, Windy, Hendo, Robbo and Jota in the next game, just in case.

There was no need for Mini on the pitch, that's for sure.

Cracking argument here. But Jurgen has given him what he wanted - he wanted a headline about Jurgen argued against the pen and he batted him back - then gave him his story arguing about the broadcaster. :emoticon-0145-shake

They might have got what they wanted but Jurgen came out of it well too. It's bit just about Liverpool or all seasons, it's about the demands being place on all PL players this season!

I thought Klopp was going to kill him at one point but he put his points across very well and wasn't going to be pushed, bullied or pressured into saying something he didn't want to.

Thing is, most people who have argued about the kick of times and players being rested aren’t those that sit within the medical teams of clubs.

fans on here moaning about people not playing, players being rested. Funnily enough klopp is a world class manager. There are other world class managers out there. There are highly skilled and paid medical teams within the clubs whose sole job is to assess the fitness and how much each individual body can cope with demands of certain games over a certain period and pass that info on to try and maximise the playing time in short term abs long term. To avoid small abs major injuries.

but according to Fred the fan who watches the games at home, they’re all wrong and we should be playing the best team every game.

    Definitely 2 points unnecessarily squandered.

Klopp on the Tv berating the reporter for the timing at midday. And an argument ensues. Who is responsible? The club chairmen who were happy to take the money or the broadcasters who want to satisfy their subscribers?

Klopp said it’s not an issue in a normal
season. But this season with no pressure season, condensed season, 3 subs not 5... it’s become an issue and maybe there should have been some flexibility.

Time of game and injuries are one thing but the fact is we were denied three points by a bad penalty decision

Thought Klopp handled the BT argument very well. Des Kelly came across as a spoilt child.

The PL executive agree the contract but the broadcaster chooses the games. I haven't checked but Klopp mentioned that last season only 2 teams got the early fixtures following a mid week European game, us being one of them. It's one thing saying that we're the team everyone wants to watch but players need protecting especially now.

    Top of the league :)

Van Dijk and Gomez won't be back this season.

Trent needs to come back asap as does Thiago. Don't think we will be any good till they do

We all know that the premier league is not geared to flexibility. And we could have the other non CL clubs moaning that top clubs are being favoured if matches are changed. Even that 5 sub rule is being refused on the grounds that it will favour top clubs.

For me, Klopp saying it all the time could be self defeating. Like saying your players are very tired give them an excuse to be slower and less dynamic. Was he trying to prove a point by playing so many non first 11 players? In which case it has backfired spectacularly.

Why remove Mo and leave Mini on with the match delicately poised on 1-0?
