Not many kids in the match squad... Suppose we should be winning this comfortably with the team we've put out.
I would like to have seen Can given a chance in midfield and Lovren a chance at the back. Gerrard should be further forward and hopefully Sturridge gets another half an hour or so.
Interesting team. Thought would be a few more changes with the likes of Coutinho/Markovic maybe being rested. Like how the back 3 has remained though, need to keep working on partnerships at the back there and playing games together will only make them a better unit. I'm a bit surprise Gerrard is playing as he'll 100% be playing against Everton so have to see how he copes with 2 games in quick succession.
Is that Phil Neville doing commentary?! Did BBC not learn during the WC that he's duller than Michael Owen?
Lallana will never be as good as Coutinho. He had the ball with Markovic in acres of space but just never sees it.
Marvelling at how much having Can and Sakho either side of him mask Skrtel's weaknesses and total lack of confidence
Markovic needs more confidence to drive forward. As he is fast and can dribble well, but tends to pick a simple pass.
