    Au contraire.

I like Robbo and he’s clearly levels above Moreno. And I’m not saying he needs to be dropped for Moreno.

But anyone denying that Robbo has been very poor over the past 4-5 games clearly has a biased view. Moreno has put in far better performances than robbo’s last games and still got a lot more criticism.

the only thing moreno has is a nice left foot, but even that isn't up to the standard of riise. if he could shoot properly we would have a good player.

I had to go out immediately after the game so didn't come on here - I'm amazed at the negativity, you'd think we'd been trounced. People need to lighten up a bit. :)

exactly, their full backs were told to do a job and did it very well, gave us no space.

2nd leg being home team can't see them doing the same. need to be more clinical in front of goal though.

I dunno lads. they only need one goal... or at worst get pens so being an experienced european side why would they not do exactly the same and deny us while keeping that same width as they did against us last night with the two wide men. they clearly found space and it only needs one break of luck to go their way from what they did do.

Can't see them going gung ho here.

we still had chances with them playing that way though, just need to be more clinical, i cant see their manager or the fans allowing that being the home team.

vvd back and fab should play in midfield will help.

we did. we rushed a lot of things and panicked and needed a clam clinical attitude when we got into positions.

Matip missed two glorious changes imo. his were the biggest misses.

Mane miss I thought was offside and var would have ruled him off. huge chance.

They made one save. that was it. one save.

We got decent positions and as klopp said the final ball was utter rubbish.

I thought Bayern defended very well, particularly Hummels and Kimmich, and played a bit like teams used to play away in Europe. Gnabry and Coman were both dangerous but Rodriguez and Lemondropski were pants for players of their stature.
As you say, they'll have to be more adventurous at home and that might actually suit us.
It's all set up for a good duel in the second leg and I'm looking forward to it.

matip was just wrong player in right position, at least he got himself into those positions though. mane and salah was too greedy for me, without firmino they look totally different players.

a fan on another site mentioned about a handball in bayern box? i never saw it personally and don't think any players called for it, so no idea. might have been a leg to hand thing but you cant call them whichever team you support lol.

There wasn't a handball. it'd be clutching at straws.

like i said i didn't see one, was confused by the comment.

Kimmich was brilliant last nite and i loved his attitude when he made crucial interceptions, and he was on a yellow as well so could make no more mistakes. hummels was great as well the batard <laugh>

The ref let them away with murder early on.

It was shocking to see us tap one and they drop then the ref letting them shove and push and then moan about a free being given.

There was one occasion with salah and one with mane that were so ridiculous it'd be a yellow in most games.

Then the assault on henderson what was completely unpunished.. bayern even kicked ball out (rahter sporting) as ref completely missed it.

Really we were not strong enough on them.

I felt after about 10mins our midfield three dropped off due to the back line and left our front 3 to press on own as well. the res of the half bayern had the lions share as it bacame easy to pass out. Klopp was telling them to get up pitch.

He stuck on milner and also instructed windy to go higher to press as well.

the trouble is when they did have it they won't ****ing pass it quick so they kill the moves.

lewandowski (spelling) was the worst for that, actually quite sad he felt the need to act innocent about it like he done nothing wrong, modern game though sadly.

I think going into the last 10-15 minutes, probably are more settled with not conceding than not scoring.

A safe 0-0 is better than trying to push for a 1-0 win and end up conceding and almost being out the tie.

The difference between 1-0 win and 0-0 draw isn’t massive, probably still need to score 1, where as a 1-0 home loss almost puts you out the comp

There was a handball, but Keita had already been blown up for offside - I think.

Defebsively he’s still been ok I think. I know was at fault for free kick against Leicester but anyone can give away a free kick. Was more terrible defending from that free kick which is why we conceded.

was that the game keita was blocked off?

would var have ruled that out though, as at the time i didn't see anything wrong with it, and no one complained about it.

just a clever obstruction for me, guess it depends on what var ref they use <laugh> all refs see things differently.

Trust you to "nitpick" and destroy the illusion it will be easy at their ground. I'll worry for 3 weeks now, batard
