Salah and Firminho confirmed as out. Line up will be interesting - we’ve been very fortunate with injuries to the front three this season.....the quality of replacement is sadly lacking. Mane will be the main threat. I hope we don’t use Sturridge - he’s f#cking useless. Am not sure that we actually have replacements that would work. Perhaps a formation change will be forced upon us. A 4-2-3-1 would allow for Mane, Shaq, Origi and one more (lallana....Brewster?!?)
Origi's scored a few surprise goals this season in important games, but lets be honest, he's ****e overall. Pace yes, but he runs down blind alleys or tries step overs before losing it. If we line up with Origi or Sturridge against Barca, we're ****ed! Not many other options though sadly now. Need 4 goals to go through and it's all on Mane
4231 for me Wij and Fab holding Hendo Shaq/Milner Mane Origi up top We need all the resources to press the hell out of barca but enough stability at the back to cover Messi. It allows Wij to Cover for TAA and Fab to cover for Robbo. Good thing is the next game is on Sunday so enough time to recover physically for the last game of the season.
nothing's going to over turn a 0-3. we can do our best that's all. it depends on barca's mood and energy. if they are happy for 0-0 We can fight and hold our heads up. imo it'll be the same old team. back 5 will have to have taa and Matip. fabinho to start. after that shaqiri and origi clearly deserve to play more than anyone else (which says it all tbh) you'd be lucky to get 30mil out of both players
yeah.. it's the only tactic I've wonders why when klopp does it. in some games klopps pulled.mane wide right and he's been frankly atrocious. as false 9 he did fine once and not fine an other time. I think we gets the wide left defending but then roams in attack from left wing and does far better so maybe leave him? origi to run about I suppose as no 9 as wijnaldum at home surely won't be repeated??
