I think grujic is a decent player. Just doesn’t look mobile enough in terms of pressing when you compare him to the normal midfield. Not an area that we’re struggling in either.

Not the greatest game to watch, and certainly not one that'll live long in the memory, unlike some of the other classics we've had down the years (6-3, 5-5 etc). But I thought defensively, we were very well structured and didn't get away too many chances (relatively speaking). When you've got the likes of Minamino, Salah, Jones & Jota in your attack, we will inevitably give away a few opportunities, but thought we held firm for the most part. Leno obviously made some sensational saves. Thought both sides lacked some cutting edge, but us mores. We really need to find ways of creating more chances because we don't do it enough. I really liked the look of that Grujic. Looks class (and a threat on set-pieces). I know he's been on loan a lot and looked out of favour, but he could do a job for you I reckon. Not a bad squad option to have IMO. Penalties are a bit of a lottery anyway, and while you may feel a bit disappointed to lose to us on pens for the second time, you've got bigger fish to fry. Truthfully, I'm not that bothered about this comp either, but now we're into the last 8, no harm in trying to win it now. Not bloody won the thing since 1993! Best of luck for the rest of the season. Thanks for the kind words. I have no idea why but I've always liked Arsenal. I think we should have won in normal time, we were the better side and as you say the keeper kept you in it ...... right through to the penalties.
Cant deny that a arteta has got you guys playing better and looking better defensively. not sure you can take too much from us. They mentioned you’ve won 3 of the last 4, 2 of those were on pens and the other was in a game where we’d already won the league. The one game that mattered to us properly was Sunday and we absolutely doninated so I wouldn’t get carried away (not suggesting you are, but just some arsenal fans and the media). Pepe looks a total waste of money btw better off going with saka. good luck and feel free to take some points off city for us when you play them

Nah, I don't take too much from those '3 wins'. One came when the league was sewn up and your concentration levels had evidently dipped, one was in the Community Shield which is effectively a curtain-raiser (which we drew 1-1 in normal time anyway), and the one tonight was basically two B teams with a few first teamers in the mix that was also a draw at the end of 90 mins. As you say, the league game was the most important fixture and you got the win there (comfortably too) so it is what it is. Agree on Pepe. Never wanted us to sign him for that money at the time when we had glaring issues in other areas of the pitch. And I still don't think he's ever going to be the player Arsenal fans are wanting him to be. In his defence, he's not played much football yet this season and there's a long way to go. But yeah, he doesn't even look like he's worth half the amount we spunked on him. I hope he comes good, but I've not seen much to suggest he's more than the second coming of Gervinho
