I'd also have Matip on the teamsheet before Can gets a mention. He's good, but hardly a guaranteed starter and I can't think of any top team in Europe where he would be; he wants assurances to play, not just a bumper pay rise.

Bit harsh. You could equally say it's Lovren's job to organise the defense so that Matip can focus on his job. Can doesn't organise anything, why should the same expectation be on someone else? In terms of importance to our team, Can is maybe 6th. If he leaves, he leaves. I won't be too bothered, but I'd rather he stayed and continued to grow.

Never takes a step back to control situations. Let him lash round and he is fine chasing down. We need a no 6 who can read the game defensively and a cb who can organise those round him
