Tbh, I think it's a bit sad that some of our fans are laying into them given the remarkable achievements of the past two seasons.

Credit to City and Pep though, they had the drive to really get to 100. And to think we had a much better head start and could have smashed it, but just didn't seem remotely interested for whatever reason.

They have a better and more extensive squad and I think the quality wins games even when they don't have the drive. They blow people away when things are going right for them but lack character when they're not.
I think our attitude and determination is better, and that was the difference - and it's the diluting of that determination that has seen the performances drop since the title was won.

I think that gives the players motivation, they fighting for their place in the side. We've got a strong first eleven but only one or two that are fighting beyond that.

The performance versus Crystal Palace was described as perfect. You mean since we won ther league whilst sat getting pissed!

While like all other Reds i wish our season wasn't just spluttering to a finish i think it was fairly inevitable in the circumstances . The absence of fans added to the fact we are already champions that it removes so much of the motivation from the players that the drop off in performance was almost inevitable .

We are not the only one affected by lack of fans, it does apply to everyone too. I think the players are no longer motivated after winning the title. They are looking for a break.

Arghh that was one of the most frustrating games I've seen. We weren't that bad - dominated most of the game, created some semi decent chances and took the lead. You can't plan for 2 very bad mistakes

Having said that, I know we expected a drop off, and this team has delivered the title and we should all be happy and grateful, but dropping points is never nice. In the general context of the season, this is nothing - but losing can never be acceptable.

We won't see the real LFC until next season now - I just hope that we don't get battered in the next two games.

One thing it has shown is our desperate need for competition for the front 3. Firmino as much as we love him has a dreadful record this season and salah the last couple games deserves to be dropped.

Very true although most of it is aimed at Astro who's been banging on about us breaking records so it was inevitable really
