Championship winning performance. Could have been out of sight by half time and ended up having to grind out a win over an overly physical Aberdeen side who almost stole a draw at the end.
Aberdeen got what they deserved, hee haw. The Norwich lad looks a player, needs a bit of a feed though, he's built like a jockey's whip.
Cracking goal by Tim Rogic. We need to be more clinical though. Aberdeen should have had a penalty. It was soft... But it was a foul... But also **** them.
Rogic is a class above. Best technical player in Scotland. Reminds me of myself in my pomp. Dandies exasperated, but understandable given theyre the second biggest team in the country and they just can't get close to the mighty hoops. Needed a second to kill the game, but Joe Lewis doing his best to stem the flow. Wonder save from Sinclair's shot. BUILD THEM HIGH
Deek the Hun raging again despite another easy win for us over them. Mind when you all ridiculed me for saying I thought Rogic was the best technical player we'd had since Naka after seeing him come on in the Cliftonville game? Up yies.
I've watched him a few times now and he has strolled through games - head and shoulders above his team-mates ... was surprised he didnt start for them today. He's on loan to them until January apparently and I'm sure they're hoping they can retain him for the season but if Norwich have been keeping tabs on him would think that's unlikely. On another note, the chances we wasted today and against the Dybbuks, when we could and should have killed both games off easily, are criminal. If our defence was as guilty of such ineffectual play, we would be slaughtering them. The pressure placed on our defence, due in the end, to that profligacy in front of goal is becoming annoying to say the least ... then again, here we are, with an exciting, rejuvenated team under a great new manager having a great start to the season, and I still find things to complain about! ;-)
