Relieve your boredom by looking at my 'Nathan Lyon is a Mekon' gag on the Ashes thread.

Without doubt the whimsical jape of the festive season thus far.

I don't know if I've ever been so proud.

Seriously, I wouldn't and I think you under estimate other peoples thought processes and ability to form their own views.

There was actually plenty of ridicule both ways. To an extent I stayed out of the debate rather than point out the stupidity of some comments.

    This whole post is bollocks.

The mods are forum members, they are free to post opinions the same as everyone else, ridicule posters the same as everyone else & give back abuse they receive, as everyone else does. They are not employed, they do it for nowt.

When they are posting that's all people look at. They, from time to time have to defend their actions publicly to people who cannot understand the concept of private messaging. If people stop whinging at what they do / don't do & private message them if they perceive a problem then issues will be dealt with as they should be, in the background.

If you are not happy with a mod's actions there are two others you can turn to.

As far as I can remember (now the evidence has been edited) you originally said:

"The joys of Multi-cultural motoring in Britain! Which area was it?"

Which DMD protected your arse by changing it to:

"The joys of London motoring! Which area was it?"

You are a racist and I don't apologise to racists.

There's the supermods too, they can see any deletions or changes we've made. If there was anything untoward, they would quickly, and quite rightly boot us off the site, not just off mod functions.

I do keep thinking about just posting and leaving the other bits for someone else, then I look at the handful that generate the most work and I decide to press on a bit longer.

I read the words as "multi-cultural" on the basis that is how I think it was spelt, and took it to mean that there are people who live in London who by birth drive on the other side of the road to us. Given that London is stereotypically non-english (not a clue how true that is, but its a commonly held perception by other people who have mentioned London), I would have thought it was more satirical than racist.

I guess if you were really looking for racism in everything or have an axe to grind then you might twist it in your head into a racist context. Just because Stuey can sometimes post like a total bigotted twat looking for a rise doesn't mean he shouldn't be given the benefit of the doubt occasionally on some posts. I mean, if we were to base our opinions of peoples posts on previous postings, 90% of the regular board posters would have you on ignore as you've been a right tart recently.

And before you go off on one, you won't have seen me posting on CTID threads either way, or pro or con DMD as these issues don't offend me enough to voice my meaningless opinion as much as the witch hunts and righteous indignation that some arseholes have been posting recently. By complaining about either perceived or real infractions on this board consistently, at length, with no real obvious proof to the casual observer you're ruining this board more than the issues you are trying to highlight, irrespective of whether you are right or wrong.

Seriously, grow some balls and **** off to another board or just stfu and post about football.

    It was

    "The joys of multicultural motoring!

    Which area was it?"

    No mention of race there.

You'll have to speak to DMD as to why it was moderated, after all there was **** all wrong with it.

It was moderated as Craig was taking that thread somewhere it didn't deserve to go, so I changed it to "London", a City so proud of it's multicultural nature, I assumed they were synonymous.

What does the term "multiculture" mean to you Craig?
So far you look to have assumed it to be skin colour and racial.

But that aside, you complained, so I acted straight away. What more do you want?

I never wrote that and you also put 'multi racial' in at some point in your mental quest to find summat to get offended about.

I'm happy to discuss my opinions on the peril of driving in London on this thread but fear some people might be sticking needles in their eyes by that point.

Yes. The words multi-cultural and London are the same.
This is why I don't bother responding to your posts, they're always pedantic and evasive.

Surely "multi-cultural" is an un-necessary word in that sentence unless multi-cultural is the specific point.

I answered your question, you've made ONE point that you feel was race related, but despite numerous requests, as yet you have posted no others. Read into that what you will.

I addressed your complaint and removed the term that offended you.

I ask again, what more do you want?
