Thanks for your positive comments on our staff. We all do try to be friendly and helpful. I do not agree with your negative comments about our food. We use very high quality olives, flour (for making the pizza/focaccia dough), mozzarella and ice cream from suppliers that my father and I have been using for decades. Our chefs are very hardworking, experienced and talented and have been instrumental in us becoming a very successful restaurant indeed. Given some of the terms of your review (and your previous general ramblings about how knowledgeable you apparently are which were removed in which you stated that you anticipated a "vitriolic response" from me and to me as "Glasgow's Basil Fawlty") my view is that you are trying too hard to find fault on the basis of a twin over-inflated opinion of yourself and a dislike of myself and my responses. A great shame that you should try and damage the reputation and livelihoods of our great kitchen-staff in the process. It won't work though. Hope you don't enjoy reading this response. Congratulations Costa2much! You are the first customer in our 8+ years trading to ever complain about the size of our pizza. You are simultaneously the first customer to in our 8+ years trading to have complained about our side salad’s price and further, it apparently resembling having being bought from a supermarket. The reason we may have lacked atmosphere is due to it being January and most days being much quieter than normal for obvious reasons. Alternatively, the restaurant may have been filled with customers similar to yourself who no doubt spent all their time looking at the prices on our menu and drinking their tap water rather than conversing with those around them. Our Italian style mixed salad is narrated on our menu as containing “mixed leaf lettuce, red onion and chopped tomatoes”. Therefore, you were served a mixed salad of mixed leaf lettuce, red onion and chopped tomatoes. The mixed leaf lettuce (I know as I do the fruit and veg orders and work almost every day in my family’s restaurant when the deliveries arrive and when our chefs prepare and send out dishes) is made up of iceberg, rocket and radicchio (a type purple leaf lettuce). For your information, I am not aware of any supermarket who sells such a ready-made mix of salad and if they did I am sure I could get much better value for money using my current suppliers who offer me better prices and quality than ready-made supermarket packets would. £3.50 is a more than acceptable price for the privilege (note the correct spelling) to be served such a dish in a restaurant which has a lot more outgoings than clearly your brain is able to comprehend. We do not require nor wish for the custom of miserly penny-pinchers. You were purely a waste of our time and efforts. Paolo Martone Qua Italian Restaurant

Going to go vote for JC when back in London, in ****ing Reading at the mo 'Mon Labour Anyone that votes Tory today deserves instant superherpes.
Then they wouldn't be Nationalists. Labour losing the Scottish seats has made it almost impossible for Labour to rule.
I know. It's great living beside so many spastics. It would be like if ukip held every seat in England
