Tottenham, Chelsea, Manchester United and Newcastle have made enquiries about Swansea goalkeeper Michel Vorm.

The Dutchman, 28, signed from Utrecht for £1.5million in the summer, and has been key to Swansea’s progress.

Swansea director John van Zweden said: ‘Chelsea and Newcastle United are interested. Manchester United have asked about him, while Tottenham have cautiously let us know.’

Tottenham striker Simon Dawkins, 24, is wanted by Steve McClaren’s Twente. Marseille striker Loic Remy, 25, will say no to Tottenham and stay in France this season.

Probably (Hopefully) just keeping our options open by enquiring about him in case we do get an offer we cant refuse for Krul. We all know this management team will snap up any "ridiculous" offer for anyone so in case it happens for Krul it makes sense to look around and enquire what is available as a possible replacement.
Would be gutted if Krul left though.
 
Let's say we sell Krul, for £15m. Vorm will cost us about £10m....why not just keep Krul?

...seems dodgy to me
 
It'll just be a case of keeping all options open. Nothing serious but if Krul suddenly had a 20m bid put in then at least we've enquired about other keepers

The Swansea director could be being clever, Naming us as one of the interested clubs may make Krul question his role at the club and try and get a move to Chelsea or Spurs (who he has been linked too) meaning Swans have a better chance of keeping Vorm. Fly Taffy **** IMO

If Manchester (who spent 18 million on de Gea) and Chelsea (who have Cech) are actually interested that leaves Man City - Hart, Liverpool - Reina and Arsenal - Szcesny, who else in the premier league other than QPR can afford Krul

We're owned by a shopkeeper, he looks at profit & loss sheets. Nothing more.

Also wouldn't expect to pay £10M for Vorm so profit is likely to be higher.
