Saints fan in peace here!

My father is a lifetime(armchair) Liverpool fan, despite living down south his family are from Liverpool. It's his 60th Birthday this January and i was hoping to take him for the first time to anfield to the Stoke game on the 14th January, but i don't quite understand the ticketing policy.

On the website it appears that all the tickets were sold out to members, is this right?

Do you always sell out? Or are further tickets likely to go on general release soon?

Well you guys have such an excellent music scene up there, maybe you should consider renaming the stadium..
 
Aye, hope it's not too much of a shock- he probably won't want to come and visit us now, he'll just stay static.
Perhaps someone could ion out this problem by giving him the gen he's after?
 
The club this season has decided to sell tickets in 2 big batches,the first batch in July for the pre Xmas matches,and the 2nd match in November( last week) for the after Xmas matches.I would guess but I havnt looked cos we've managed to get all our tickets after being superglued to the phone for 2 hrs last Monday, but I would guess nearly all games in the League are sold out, if not all.

That means your best options are wait for " Late Availability", these are tickets that are returned by people who initially thought they could go, but for some reason have changed there mind.The odds of getting one of these tickets is very slim, cos of the small numbers returned,and they usually sell out in a couple of hrs once made available, keep checking website for availbility

Or pay well above face value, ie via the Hospitality Tickets thing on the website ,or, there are loads of ticket websites on the net were you can get tickets if you so please but very expensively.But either of these options will cost you over £100 per ticket

I hope that has "enLIGHTened" you. If you dont like that idea, you can always stay at ,ohm!!
 
Thinkin about it, if you just plannin to go for a one off game, the best bet may be hospitality as tickets cost about £45 per game,plus you need membership really at £20,as it dramatically increases your chances of getiin a ticket.So there aint a big difference really,with the £100 hospitality ticket ,and you get to have some nice grub in the posh bit,may evn meet 1 or 2 ex pros,Alan Kennedy,Davie Fairclough,Jan Molby n the likes
 
Could always try Thomas Cook Sports. They are asking £149 per ticket (including hotel & programme) and have seats available. As it's his 60th birthday that price may not be too far out of the way!

One thing about watching it at 'Ohm, you do get to CMOS't of the action.
