Fair point but it makes me wonder about our financial situation. Also, if players come in on loan & do really well either their clubs want them back or they double the price which leaves us back to square one.

I think our finances are fine. It's just the wage bill. You can have millions sat there in the bank, if your outgoings are more than your incomings you're still losing money. I think we've got millions in the bank for transfers from the TV Deal. But so long as we've got these average over earning players in the squad then we won't have much of a wage budget to work with. Ellis won't let that monthly balance update slip back into running in the red.
Erm.... Ustari isn't actually a loan, he was released by Almeria. Guess he's just a cheap backup option in case of an injury to Vito, but pray that doesn't happen!
