I get what you are saying. But it would never get to the point were enough people stop paying sky(or any other company that is dodgy). A few customers not paying for sky is a drop in the ocean for murdoch

That's not so. It only takes a smallish number of customers to boycott a business or product, to have an impact on sales, and force shareholders and CEOs to take notice. Witness the impact of bad publicity on Sports Directs profits.
I've never actually known what crookedness Murdoch did. I'm aware he has a nasty reputation and comes over as a sleaze ball, but not sure why I've missed what he did.
In 1986 he closed down his Fleet Street printworks and dismissed all his employees overnight without notice. On relocating to Wapping, he refused to recognise any Trade Unions, and only took on employees who agreed not to join a union.
I have not bought a News International publication since then, but the list of morally bankrupt behaviour only began at that point, it certainly didn't end there. The phone hacking scandals - remember Millie Dowler? - happened at one of his publications, as did the execrable coverage of Hillsborough.
Mate, the list is a mile long. Do a bit of research, I haven't got time right now.
It began a long time before that, Archers. The influence he has had over governments from Australia to the USA, not to mention winning elections for both the Tories and New Labour, is very unhealthy.
Off the top of my head, he's also responsible for inventing Page 3, and mainstreaming the objectification of women. He also wanted to get into the Chinese media market so much that he offered to become a Chinese citizen. They turned him down because they didn't like the cut of his jib [sensible]. In the late 1960's he first started to invent news, to fill up his newspapers, when there wasn't enough real and exciting stuff to do the same.
If I thought hard I could think of more stuff. It's all pretty shady and sleazy. Not a person I would encourage with my money. He's after political influential domination in the media world. For example, he desperately wants to curb the BBC. Funnily enough, the ITV companies have always been reasonably happy with the BBC because Auntie doesn't encroach on their advertising revenue. It's Sky that they tend to have a problem with.
