Hey OLM: Did you and Weedy conclude the guitar sale? It looked to be a beauty - what make is it, out of curiosity?

Re your 'Cash Converters' quip: Is there any bar to having a "For Sale" thread? Or do you feel it would be better carried on for a single item, like the guitar one?

The deal was indeed concluded yesterday and said guitar has already been used to annoy the neighbours last night(Vintage is the make, rather than a reflection of it's age).

I don't really have an objection to the odd thing like a guitar or a gig ticket being bunged up for sale, as long as the place doesn't get filled up with people trying to flog stuff all the time.

I understand. It's just that I got to thinking this a.m., after posting about the Studio Pro, followed by your comment. Maybe just the occasional one-off then...?<ok>

Nice axe Lammy,I was thinking of purchasing a Crafter 12 string acoustic from cash cons.

That was until they stuck that awful advert on our chests.

Hey,they should give us discount when we produce our season pass. Idea ?

Not only would I not be seen dead in the place, but that's in the Bradford branch, it doesn't get lower than a Cash Converters in Bratfud.

Anyway, there's something wrong with that one, it should have a clear scratch guard, so if anyone wants a proper one, it's £500, you can't pay weekly and I'm not lending you money or cashing your cheques. <ok>

Yea I saw that on the cash converters website, black scratch pad? Hmm! That Vintage model is going for £726 on Ebay, dont know why its that price as there averaging £500 across the web. Nevertheless, nice meeting you OLM was a pleasure and I hope you get years of use out of that guitar, its gone to a good home. Finding it difficult to get rid of these £50 notes though not many places accept them, ild shift these like no 2morro if I were in London haha. See what Asda have to say when I pop there later this afternoon lol.

    P.S Im not complaining ;P

Good to meet you too, you'll be fine at supermarkets and petrol stations.

At least you will with the genuine one. :emoticon-0105-wink:

I've been testing it out with The Cure for the past hour, I reckon my neighbours are sick to death of Jumping Someone Elses Train and The Forest by now and it's the village veterans end of season bash tonight, so I'm bound to get some grief. <ok>

Hahaha, I tell you what I reckon that guitar will sound even more awesome after a new set of strings have been put on it. Im jamming right now, Dire Straits Money for Nothing almost got the technique spot on, not as good as Mark Knopfler mind you but it sounds pretty sweet. I havent got a Fender though, but the Black beauty i have is more than capable of producing a great sound for mostly anything. Wish I could have stayed and jammed some tunes with you before I left mate, but I was running out of time, was a mad rush but completed the mission.
