Goals need to come from more than one position.. For all our midfield is good none of them will get 8 a season.. Good sides have a much broader supply of goals...it's something that if they don't address, they'll lose games they should have easily won.
Hence our need for a no10 I thought Bruno was way off the have as was Joelinton. Tonali has to cover both a lot today. Bruno got better when they went down to ten men though.
Howe had only Barnes in the 11 that can strike a ball... Then when subs came he had nothing really. The cbs don't chip in with enough from corners, the cms are all pretty **** at shooting (Tonali OK) the 3 fwds are all equally frustrating players.... A number 10 would be good but it won't fix everything.. The lack of goals is actually worrying.... Played class.. No goals... We'll get picked off.
Buy some players in various positions of the pitch that can score goals.... Please nufc it's not rocket science

Elanga and Gordon should have scored. I don’t know how either didn’t. I think we need to be encouraged rather than upset. It’s Villa Park and they haven’t lost there in a year. If we had Pedro or Ekitike we win, the club went for both. As was said in the athletic it’s incredible bad luck that in the summer we need a forward, so do Liverpool, Arsenal, Man U and Chelsea. But if we had a competent board and scouting set up we’d have planned for it.
I guess they possibly didn't foresee the Isak debacle though, otherwise we'd be looking at a Wilson upgrade which is a different level
Yes but that’s fine both good players and I hate Isak now. If we had Wissa today we would probably have won. We looked tight and in control.
