Some of you need your heads checked.

Krul 7- not much to do but was good at coming for crosses and punches at times.

Simpson 7- not his biggest fan but didnt do much wrong today apart from still back off his man a little too much.

Taylor 8- Solid, made that one big mistake but covered it so it cancelled it out.

Coloccini 7- Solid but made a bit of a mistake for the goal I thought.

Raylor 7- Played well today I thought, put some decent balls in and defended alright.

Obertan 8- Best performance I've seen from him today no idea why people are giving him grief, took players on for once and looked very dangerous all game.

Cabaye 7- Lots of good passes, great attempts on goal, seems to be getting forward more every game.

Tiote 6- Better than the last few games but gave the ball away so cheaply at times and nearly cost us, great assist though and passing was a bit more on par with his usual self.

Gutierrez 9- MOM for me, defended superbly, took people on well, made a lot of intelligent runs and even got a few decent balls in.

Best 7- Good poachers goal and a few nice touches, did well again, is he injured?

Ba 6- Getting better but still wasnt great today for me.

Shola 4- Did nothing really when he came on, had a decent attempt on goal thats all.

Marveaux 6- looked good when he came on but not enough time to give him anything higher.

Thought Obertan did okay. Nothing sensational, but he's as good as/better than Jonas attacking-wise.

Not meaning to get into any arguments or anything here but I think a lot of people on here follow the crowd with their opinions of players or in Tash's case give higher ratings to favourite players.

Jonas today in my opinion was fantastic and without a doubt my personal choice for man of the match, he did absolutely everything right today (maybe apart from couple of dodgy crosses) he tracked back exceptionally well and covered Raylor all game, got stuck in very well and even managed to win the ball a lot of times and bring it completely clear away from danger all by himself. He was dropping deep all game and even doing the job of Cabaye/Tiote at times when he was called upon.

Going forward he looked very good also, taking players on makes a nice change and getting into dangerous areas only for our strikers not do to anything with it.

As for Obertan its the best I've seen him play for us and he looks like hes gradually building in confidence, at times he was still easily shrugged off when trying to take on his man but beat his man on more than several occasions today and played some lovely 1-2's with the strikers. There was even one instance where he put the ball one side and ran the other, kept the ball and delivered a beauty of a cross that once again our strikers failed to get anywhere near.

Cabaye had a very good game also but wasnt involved quite enough IMO to get a very high rating, passing was excellent as usual though and could have scored with a couple of pelting shots.

And people saying Tiote is back to his best etc.... I thought he was poor today in his usual role, he was caught in possession (not as much mind) and also his passing was sloppy, I can remember 3 or 4 instances off the top of my head where his sloppyness nearly cost us a goal. Great assist though, very nice cross.
