Benteke was so bad against us, and I heard even worse in their previous game, that I'd have preferred him to go on playing for them.
He was doing well. He went close with a couple of chances, especially the header but then Villa self imploded rather bizarrely. The Benteke sending off reminded me of Cisse's v Wolves a couple of seasons ago, a silly hand raised in the heat of the moment and in the next moment you're walking.

We got very lucky today in Villa losing losing a game they looked like winning against Spurs. Benteke looked sharp and was unlucky to be red carded. However we need all the company we can get down there.
Sunderland have beaten Palace 3-1 at Selhurst. A draw would have been best but we're still only two points behind safety. Could to with a win on Saturday though

Our six fixtures after City are ...... Newcastle A Leicester H Swansea A Burnley H Everton A WBA H and then we play Arsenal away and Palace at home. I feel that we will need a minimum of 13 points from those 6 games or we're going to be playing the likes of Fulham next season.
