We lost this fixture last season. This fixture is kind of bogey for us & Jose.

From last season, I think (wish) these will be the changes

Cech (Courtois)
Ivan
Dave
JT
Cahill (Zouma)
Eden
Willian (Cesc)
Rambo
Oscar
Matic
Nando (Remy)

Hope we have better subs too, over last seasons.
Juan Cuadrado should be there <ok>

Courtois

Ivan - Zouma - JT - Azpi

Fab - Matic

Willian - Oscar - Hazard

Remy

A shift might see Oscar or Willian sacrificed for Ramires, especially with Delph and Sanchez having some legs in midfield. After losing 5-0 to Arsenal, I hope Villa remain deflated. Benteke always loves playing Cahill so I hope Jose knows that Zouma is the right choice here. The guy shackled Sterling and Aguero in his last two starts.

As for subs, Cuadrado should get 20 minutes, Drogba will probably make it off the bench for Remy with 15 to go and whichever of Willian, Oscar or Ramires doesn't start should get more than half hour.

Going for us to control this one and take it 2-0, goals from Remy and Terry.

Fabregas apparently a non starter, perfect time to play Nathan Ake alongside Matic with Oscar sitting in behind the front 3. Otherwise, Loftus Cheek could get 45 mins? One lives in hope.

Ivan - Zouma - JT - Azpi

Rambo - Matic

Juan - Cesc - Hazard

Remy

Heard Cesc is back from his niggle. I would like to see this. Would give Cesc more freedom.
Don't think Ake or LC would get a look in. Especially at villa park despite their awful form of late.

You score against the champs and get benched for a 36 year old legend?
Looks like Drog has 4 goals against villa and that record might have played a factor. But what does this do to Remy?

Cahill starts, Mikel in bench - We might as well give Villa their much awaited goal now. <doh>
Hope Rambo & Matic can shield our defensive liabilities.

Villa go with Gabby over Christian. Lambert going for the pace of Agbonlahor & Weimann there.

Aston Villa starting XI: Guzan, Hutton, Okore, Clark, Cissokho, Westwood, Delph, Cleverley, Agbonlahor, Weimann, Gil

Chelsea starting XI: Courtois; Ivanovic, Cahill, Terry, Azpilicueta; Ramires, Matic; Willian, Oscar, Hazard; Drogba.

well worked team goal.
Drog holds and finds Oscar, who picks WIllian and a fine pass within the box gets Hazard - GOAL!!

Rambo on course for his 3peat Red. Already got a yellow.

What a ball from Eden to Rambo. But for Rambo's custom made touch - that was certain second goal for us

Courtois was horrible in the 2 instances when he had to deal with crosses. Wtf is going on?

Ivan in the aftermath - lets the ball bounce. We are asking for trouble.

longer this continues 0-1, more likely we will drop points here - 2 or even 3!!

****ing courtois. Cech (suspect in crossoes) will be lot better in crosses.
haven't caught one cross yet

get the **** out, Ivan!!

pull rambo, cahill - replace with ake & zouma. Shut shop

Mikel comes on - you know what, chances of us letting a goal has tripled

Juan on for WIllian.
So we are stuck with Cahill & Mikel to defend slender one goal. Risky unless we get few more

88th minute - in our final third - Mikel plays 2 passes within 3 seconds both to villa players

<doh><doh><doh><doh><doh><doh><doh><doh>

**** yeeaaaaahhhh

Goons lose
Madrid Lose
City drop 2 pts
QPR lose at the last minute

and we win at Villa for the first time!!!!!!
