I would actually play Gordon and ASM in this one. Gordon’s speed will be needed on left to keep Moreno back and help Trippier with Ramsay. St Maximin in to torment Ashley Young who is a definite weak link.
Then go with Isak and Wilson up front Joelinton and Guimares in central midfield.
No point trying to sit back and defend against them - their weaknesses are all in defence.

Thought I had already replied to this but ASM is likely to be injured

this will be his 2nd time this season in the league,
1st time was against Brentford 5-1,
also reffed us against Bournemouth in the league cup 1-0)

Well of ciurse, I WANT the win as well, I just think this is a difficult fixture (regardless of our recent form) and not to be under-estimated. Villa have gone under the radar while quietly climbing up the table.

And at the same time we're flying, last 3 games especially. I think we'll be too much even for a Villa team that are on fire themselves.

Just realised I have ****ed up my flight back. KO is 5mins before my flight from Doha to Manchester takes off. Going to have to rely on the in-flight wifi and you twats for updates.
Edit: All good. Just remembered I am flying a week on Saturday!

That's a shame, I was just about to set up a 'Jak's matchday update thread' where said 'twats' could post their very helpful updates for you.
