As this thread is now devoid of it's original subject and has turned to the issue of moderation on here, I'd like to ask for your opinions on the subject regarding our board. Many of you may not be interested, but some posters over here seem to have quite strong views on the subject due to events over the past few months. It would appear that we are in need of a replacement for Taff who's work will take him to distant foreign climes where the time difference and travelling will prevent him from continuing in his position. It is therefore deemed necessary to seek a replacement and I was wondering if you had any ideas as to whom might be suitable in the role. It has been suggested by some that they would like me to take up this very responsible position and although very flattered, having turned down requests in the past, I feel it might be disingenuous of me to take it upon right now as I do not wish to alienate anyone. On the other hand, you might feel that with this new spirit of bon hommie we seem to be spreading, it might be the right time to offer my services. What do you think?

I don't know what Chico is doing, but he surely can't mod here, and the Jack army, and Valley isn't always here either, and Vetch has raised a valid issue in my view, I think we need another mod to be honest, but you are right it's not down to me to try and get this place sorted, but it's my observation that it's drifting some what, that's all!.........................
I think you'll make a good mod, for what it's worth sparkey, but it's a thankless job, and ITIWRAN would be a good candidate too!...

Why on earth are you posting this here? Nobody cares, nor should we. It looks as if lessons have been learned over there on random banning and I suspect that will continue whoever is modding which I'm pleased to see. [That was the polite reply in the spirit of bon hommie]. Norway: Dai has posted on last night's win commenting that it was one of our best displays of the season so you're wrong. Valley decided to stay on because those of us who were left told him to reconsider, so he has the backing of the forum. Again you're wrong. On Dragon, however you're right - he has been kissing Cardiff ass (yeuch!) at our (ok my) expense but in fairness has stated that it won't happen again. It's his view that an overreaction to their stealth wumming is disruptive and he has a point so for my part I'll cool it - at least until they overstep the mark again. Ultimately, my view is that they want to provoke a reaction so this board suffers but I guess they're not alone in that.
