Jose must have known it would rile Pellegrini or any other manager in these circumstances, especially as it was a self inflicted wound!! I am not blaming Pellegrini. He was pissed off and he said it - <ok> football is a passionate game. But who said " it is important to both win and lose gracefully" ?

Really? You don't think it was a spontaneous act then. You actually think that when the goal went in Jose thought "hold on, I know how to piss Pelligrini off"

Thought you were a decent poster but you've let yourself down somewhat with that drivel

Certainly wasn't Bacon face<ok>
You can bet your life it wasn't Red Nose !!! Graceful is a word that doesn't apply to Fergurson in any circumstances.
I am a bit onside with Smithy about the handshake thing. Yes it is a small gesture, but in all sport it is traditional to shake your opponents hand after the game. Players who have been belting each other all game respect the tradition, so Managers should as well.
It's a combination of all the "little: things we lose that make up the big losses. Football has been damaged enough by Sky and the other media, Managers can do better.

We always need to remember the press are crawling over everything the managers of 2 clubs in a high level confrontation do and say! Jose's used to it over here, but Pellegrini is still learning!

lol, he managed Real Madrid FFS, there isn't another job with that type of media pressure in European football, possibly the world.

As for the game, neither manager will be happy with their keepers IMO, was Cech wearing concrete boots for the City goal? Hart is just the usual run-of-the-mill over-hyped English keeper
