Zabaleta's been the best right-back in the league this season by a mile. He's not quick, but he reads the game well and contributes quite well going forward, too. Milner's severely underrated, in my opinion. Works his arse off, plays various positions and has more quality than he's given credit for. Aguero, Silva and Tevez are superb, Toure's virtually unstoppable on his day and Kompany's very assured. Hart seems to have picked up a bit of England Goalkeeper Disease, making the odd uncharacteristic error, but he's still impressive. The rest of the squad are generally of a high standard, but I'm not sure that there's enough pace in the side or a good enough playmaker at the heart of it. Barry's not as bad as everyone makes out, but he's very slow and his passing doesn't make up for his shortcomings, for me. Balotelli might have been a nutter, but he wasn't replaced and there were times when City lacked options up front when compared to Utd. Not when compared to us though, obviously!
I understand what you're trying to say, but I still can't buy the world class tag for this City side. Yes, they have 3-4 world class players, but a world class team? Not for me, sorry mate.
All they lack is a world class manager, the players are there, as many as all the elite teams have imo, they just need motivating and organising....and thats the managers job!
