Moyes has said Vidic's tackle should have only been a yellow. I'm pretty sure Man Utd will appeal it, which will make him eligible to play on Wednesday. Wednesday night is Moyes biggest game of his Man Utd career now, out of the running in all other competitions, including champions league places, IMO. The league cup is all Man Utd are competing for now this season. Moyes will want at least a final in his first season and to do that, he knows he needs his best players on the pitch.
The 9000 (plus the ones in their end anyway) have a massive part to play now. You are spot on (sick of agreeing with you now Lol) about their lads not being the usual top drawer players everyone used to **** themselves over and their best player is 40 years old now. Its still a hard task but this Man Utd team are not all that and they will be under huge pressure now as the league has all but gone and their results are not very consistent. If we can keep a clean sheet or even nick a goal their crowd will not be used to losing and may become agitated. Thats where our 9000 will come into their own and be the 12th man for us. I fancy our back 5 to cope well enough and our midfield to compete. Catts, Ki, Colback may well play as a engine room 3 and Borini, Johnson and Fletcher our goal threat trio. I'm so looking forward to this one now its almost a case of 3 sleepless night ahead.
there is no point, it will get a frivilous appeal and extended to 4 games, no way on gods earth that will get overturned
So what if it's extended to 4 games, their season is over in the league. Wed's match is the only match that matters this season for them.
the wes brown appeal was overturned by tuesday afternoon, there is no point, have you seen that gif? absolutely no chance mate
Thats a straight red and if they appeal it should warrant an extra game for a frivolous appeal. That may mean he will only come back for the 1st Champions League game and not be match fit. I think they will look at this and think 3 games means he will have 2 or 3 before the European game (surely now THE biggest game in Moyes short career at OT) to get match fit again. That is not even a debatable red.
So long as the appeal is heard before our match. Moyes would rather keep a trophy alive then have a shorter suspension for Vidic I know.
Would the player not have to travel to appeal the decision with the manager though? Hardly good preparation either way. Also, if it isn't heard till after wednesday, then he will miss the Arsenal game (if an extra game is given) and only be back 1 game before they travel to Olympiakos? I think Vidic has his best days behind him anyway but they will need him in the European fixture more than they would on Wednesday surely. I'm not even convinced that Moyes wants to travel to Wembley to get thrashed of their rivals City at this stage of his troubled Man Utd tenure either.
If they appeal that, Moyes will be an even bigger laughing stock ................ in fact, **** it, I don't even care if Vidic plays, we beat them last time with him in. Haway Lads, I fly back in the morning and can't wait to start shouting my mouth off in Manchester.
Which tune and do I have to use a copy of Womans Weekly? Nowt vicious, just professional and clear red. If they appeal the panel will bump it up no danger..
This should be interesting, please, please, please, point me to where any of these PEOPLE have said a two footed tackle is OK. Just because you say something doesn't mean it is fact! I wont be holding my breath.
