I am not saying Nani couldnt have been hurt, nor do I think the tackle was acceptable but I also didnt think he meant to nani is a quick little fkker and carra isnt. I am saying it WASNT career threatening and it was unlikely to be, if carra straight legged it into nani broken leg, end of, no doubt, like keane did in revenge, that is a career ender. Carra as bad as the tackle was didnt have his stading leg planted, he lunged, stupid I know and caught nani, had he done a roy, nani wouldnt have got back up, one carra lunged he could do little to hcange his direction, and what happened happened, but was not career threatening no, could have yes, by that same token, Rafael, yes he got caught so why didn'the confront maxi, I would have if he done it to me, not tried to go through lucas, if he stood his ground, it could also be argued that he could have caused serious damage. I will say both could have been career threatenting but neither were both should have been reds though I would agree Rafaels may not have happened if Carra got red. Nani got up, you do not get up when you see yellow cards being pulled out if you think your season and possibly your career is over, I am sorry, no way youll convince anyone otherwise on that point. I've got gashes playing, hurt far more after 6 7 hours than they do at the time thats for fkn sure.
For Liverpool to compete with the likes of Manchester United and Arsenal they need a bigger capacity Stadium. The traditionalists would like to remain at Anfield, while the owner John Henry is looking to maximise income. A move to Stanley Park can provide the answer, and I can see it happening.
