Nooooo not another Ronald thread! there's too many as it is. Can't we just merge them all to Saint Ronald! and then we only have to look in one place. It's easier for simple folk like me
Well we know the Beeb's love of anything Swansea. Any manager there gets so much praise for the quality of their interplay, tiki taka passing and next to no goals. So with Brenda being out of the picture it must be a toss up between Gary Monk, Brian Laudrup or Paulo Sousa. Unless you can persuade Guidolin to come over.
Do we.? News to me. Obviously I turn over/off whenever they talk about Swansea. If you said... we know BBC pundits Robbie Savage and John Hartson's love of anything Swansea, I might go along with that. But that's just because they're Welsh and they find it difficult to hide their bias. Besides, it might make a change from the endless ManU this, and Arsenal that.
You had better get ready to welcome back David Moyes then as it looks like nobody else wants to be your manager.
Moyes hasn't got a cat in hells chance fella. We've moved onto the next target and I can assure you it isn't Moyes. Koeman knocked us back as he sees 'bigger things' on the horizon for him next summer btw.
It's made the Liverpool Echo this afternoon. http://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/spor.../evertons-ronald-koeman-hopes-fading-11389392 Albeit faded should read extinguished.....
Well I suppose they had to write something when it finally got through to them that Koeman is not leaving Saints this Summer and never has been.
And also suggesting that he has turned Everton down because he wants a move to Arsenal rather than he wants to stay at Saints. Mind you, if he only signs a one year extension, we will think the same. I notice they are speculating wildly about Ron's view of them losing players....pretty sure, he just turned them down without going into details like that. Koeman likes it here and we are no longer a little club...he will only leave for a big move....and Everton isn't that.
Just a follow up on this lads, the same source who told me on Monday that Koeman remained our first choice and was still definitely in the frame, despite the press articles to the contrary, has just confirmed that Koeman has now told us 'thanks but no thanks' _______________________________ Thanks for letting us know, we have all been waiting nervously for this confirmation. (in case that's too subtle, we told you that a week ago you numpty!)
Only he didn't knock us back until Tuesday afternoon, but you can take the glory for the accurate prediction Mystic Meg
