POSSIBLE Sunderland target Victor Moses could stay at Chelsea to help meet the club’s homegrown quota, according to manager Jose Mourinho. Moses – who had a mixed spell on loan at Liverpool last season – has again been linked with a temporary move away from Stamford Bridge. Sunderland have been among the clubs credited with an interest in the Nigerian international, as a potential alternative to Fabio Borini. Aston Villa and West Bromwich Albion have also been linked with the 23-year-old winger, but Mourinho appears in no rush to let him go. He said: “Everyone knows that we have one too many foreign players in the squad. “And Victor is not a foreign player. He plays in a position where we have a lot of cover. “But he is (classed as) English. We will make that decision at the end of the month and Victor is part of that process, so maybe he stays, maybe he leaves.”
