If you class that as a foul then you really have forgotten what football is about. Mind you the way Swansea play with the old "tippy-tap/foreigner fall over" routine it probably fits your future mantra. It wasn't necessarily just that. that on it's own would have pissed us off but that plus Bassong dragged down for the second goal and the third goal being offside kind of leaves a bitter taste in the mouth. Chris Hughton said it was criminal and I agree.
As I said before, I am not denying that KK was shirt pulling, just totally baffled at how the decision was made, nothing like last week my friend, it was clear to see, which the referee did (not the distant linesman)
Lol. The referee can always over rule the linesman! I will leave you grieve in piece. Tell Beefy I love him
Beefy - he loves you I know the ref can over-rule but it is rare. The only reason your goal was disallowed last week was because the tackle was late. Had the timing been better and the ball ended up in the same place I am certain it would have counted (if the ball ended up at Michu's feet of course, which it may not have done)
please log in to view this image What do you make of this then, eh? This is the second goal. Do you think Giroud maybe has hold of Bassongs shirt a tad? Criminal decisions, Linesman deserves investigation for corruption.
hmm, there's a view I have not seen before................makes it a little harder to swallow. It's okay to say it happens all the time to try and defend it but clearly the decisions were well short of consistent. I wonder how the linesman, who was apparently right all day missed that one??
I think he missed it because Bassong was playing in Yellow. That coupled with the fact Johnson was hacked with no repercussions just leaves me feeling sick. Just want a bit of justice on Saturday now.
lol didn't you guys lose to Yeovil or something yesterday? This Is big boy talk, no time for pub teams and Chopras racehorses.
While it is fair to say that officials do get decisions wrong sometimes, when you have question marks over 4 key decisions (and there I was thinking it was only three!), this week Beefy I have to agree with you 100%. In the greater scheme of things, nothing is going to change. The officials will turn up next week and do whatever they do, just hope to god we do not see that linesman again this season.
I sit on the halfway line and if the linesman farts in the wrong direction on Saturday He's getting the earful of his life.
That comment had just brightened up my day Beefy . Look forward to reading about the 'incident' if it happens
Beefy - I pinned that picture on the Arsenal match thread - can't believe the first response (or maybe I can - typical partizan football fan response). It was okay because the linesman decided the referee had been wrong all game with not giving an endless stream of fouls to Arsenal, so took the rules in to his own hands
No mention for your player kicking himself for the FK that led to your goal? The ball that hit your defenders hand (Pens have been given for those) in the box? Ramsey being fouled in the build up for your goal? Holt being a **** everytime the ball went out of play? Walcott's fall in the box was 50-50 and mmight have been given under a different ref. The 3rd goal was offside but that was a clear pen for the first.
Typical deluded Arsenal fan enters. My favourite bit was when you said "The ball that hit your defenders hand (Pens have been given for those) in the box?" Yeah, they have, against us, unjustifiably. Ref, Bassong vs Sunderland. When you started following Arsenal when they were good did you think you'd ever go 8 seasons without winning anything? Have you ever thought about getting on the Man City glory train now before they start winning lots?
A Norwich fan talking about trophyless years BTW I started supporting Arsenal a couple of seasons before the 88/89 season. When they were going through a bad patch so your point and stupid assumption is pointless. You got decisions FOR AND AGAINST you that game. Your negative style and our injection of pace via our subs won us the game.
more like a cash injection into the linos account. I support Norwich because I'm from Norfolk and not a plastic. We haven't got hundreds of millions of pounds to spend on trophies. Arsenal are the joke of the "big teams" Chelsea et al are laughing at you. Useless.
