To be fair though everyone's different. My thing was always music over football and I had a lot of great experiences and some very modest success. But, the guitarist from the band I was in in my early twenties has been touring America with Coldplay with his band Wolfgang (you'll be familiar with the current final score music). He got there by compromising on his music tastes and stealing to pay his way in London whereas I wanted to only be in the next Stone Roses or Verve and had no interest in selling out and making it for the sake of it and in fact it's meant I have carried on working with talented and inspirational people albeit now in graphics and design rather than music. That's why I say it's really up to the youngster
Lots of sound advice here for JWM. What an enviable place to be with your boys - two budding players. To have been scouted at this level bodes well for their future, and your ongoing passion for the game and it doesnt matter a hoot which club they start out on. Give them every opportunity and grab it by the cajones! ......and let us know how they get on. My only sporting honours at Suffolk...centuries ago now, was to play mens tennis for them, and a minor county at that! My football prowess such as is, pales in insignifance compared to our lofty friends on here. Sussex league div 2...and scored a goal with my weak left foot to win a local cup! And I was full back. But...I can still manage any team better than RK!
I appreciate your sage advice SouthCoast and I will let you know how it turns out be it Charlton, Brighton or Norwich!
Look whos back . Back again . Boot is back ... Now keep your opions to yourself and don't cause trouble. Have you just got back from Afghanistan....
