Sorry Dave/Maestro, had to get it off my chest.

Reading through some of these threads at the moment has made me very disappointed in some football fans.

It is COMPLETELY UNNECESSARY for Norwich fans to bring up disasters such as Hillsborough and Heysel, disasters which no football fan would want to happen to their club. As well as this the Suarez incident has been brought up, especially after he scored an amazing hattrick yesterday.

This is all unnecessary and provocative. While the Norwich fans should not bring these topics up Liverpool fans should not be taking the bait and should just ignore.

My thread 'Morons' was a light hearted jibe at stupid fans at kiosks - an incident that could have happened in any shop, stupid fans on Canary Call and stupid away fans in the home stand wearing the away team's gear - which could have been any supporter from any club (we have had a Tottenham fan in our stand recently as well).

This is all it is about yet fans decide to bring up Suarez and the aforementioned disasters, which was COMPLETELY IRRELEVANT, when all I was expecting was a bit of a laugh about Canary Callers etc.

I would also like to be able to discuss the game yesterday, and only the game. We were unlucky and beaten by three good goals and the final Suarez goal is amongst the best I've seen from an opposition team in all my visits to Carrow Road.

Dave/Maestro having to deal with stupid comments from both Norwich and Liverpool fans I applaud your efforts as mods and I am not jealous at all!

Well said.
Just disagree with the phrase we were unlucky. Unless you mean we were unlucky to come up against perhaps the individual performance of the season.
I thought we got what we deserved out of the game.

Great thread. Much appreciated.

Perhaps some of your young fans getting carried away.

Yeah, we were unlucky in regards of Suarez playing well. All three goals were brilliantly taken and, for me, nearly beats Bale's performance against us earlier in the season.

Liverpool fans are just as guilty, taking the bait from the Norwich fans but I can understand Liverpool fans getting upset over some of the comments. It doesn't make either side right though.

It was a comment aimed at highlightig that in every situation they act like the victim

"You're asking them to accept responsibility for their actions? Good luck with that"

Instant victim card, classic scouse.

although I also would like to pick up on you claiming that you were unlucky. You were well beaten and liverpool should have scored more. That said though norwich did not give up at 2-0 and I (and probably others) only felt comfortable after the third.

More drivel it seems.

I don't want this thread descending into unnecessary childish bickering. I've said my piece and if ANY posters are going to continue being childish it's just pathetic. I enjoy posing on this board and I don't want it ruined because threads descend into bickering where I feel unable to contribute to debates and discussions about football. Bringing up these topics is pathetic and irritating.

How about dropping it - just for a change, otherwise this threads is going to go the same way. Perhaps this is what it takes to stimulate you on an otherwise boring Sunday but simply repeating the same old bollox doesn't help in any way.

Thanks for talking about football. We were unlucky that we got caught out by a good player who had decided yesterday hitting the post wasn't working. <laugh>
