Ah sorry to hear that BT - you may want to keep hold of your ticket though (if it's a paper one, which I very much doubt nowadays)... when we lift the trophy this season an unused ticket may well become worth a bob or two in a few years time at the antique's roadshow or something... gotta be all of 50p I reckon.
It is a paper one and like programmes they are becoming a thing of the past. A bit like BfB really....
So Callum Robinson finally got a header under the bar, and what's more it surprisingly came as a result of a cross from out wide. He could (should?) have had a goal in the first half from that excellent deep cross by Giles. I seem to remember we salvaged a point at Stockport on the weekend with a Salech headed goal from a Willock cross from out wide. Use the width of the pitch instead of trying to walk the ball in through the middle!
After a couple hours loading the sheep trailer with furniture, had 20 mins to watch the highlights. Some good performances. Osho not built like the archetypal CBs we're used to. Skinny little legs. Looks to be a player though, defending and with the ball at his feet. I can see BBM rotating him, Lawlor and Fish. Don't see Chambers getting a look in. Ng looking to be near his best. Him and Kpakio will be fighting it out at RB. Giles did ok. Early days for Perrett, but looks like there's a player in there. Turnbull looking a different player in this set up. Might be the player he was sold as after all. Good competition all over the park now. As always, still some way to go, but all positive. Down to stafford again tomorrow to unload the trailer. Got a car full of stuff as well. Daughter getting a bit stressed that there's nowhere to sit in their house up here now. Theyre planning on getting all the animals down there the weekend after next.
That would be interesting heading down the M6. Theyre getting a few mates together and having a convoy with a BBQ when they get there.
Didn't realise that ban consequences of red cards in this Vertu Trophy competition are not applicable and won't apply to League games. So Ashford is available for the Bradford game on Saturday.
